I’m very excited about today’s styleboard because one of the ideas I have toyed with for my own special day is something pared back and pretty like a picnic wedding. The idea of lounging around on beautifully handmade rugs on a warm summer’s afternoon with baskets of fresh produce, locally sourced deli goods and a few bottles of sparkling wine sounds like a perfect way of celebrating your love.
So with the simple pair of rope wedges by Lipstik (via styletread), I dreamed of floaty organza decorations and vintage fabric bunting. I longed for lashings of pastel colours: blush pinks, lemon yellows and muted greens. A short wedding dress and simple hairstyling is just too perfect for this look. Enjoy!
